Will autism medication help? How is it treated?

Since autism does not yet have an unambiguously clear cause of its onset, even therapy cannot be understood in medical terms.

Autism is a lifelong disability, a permanent condition that can be significantly influenced by special methods and approaches known as education.

The sooner educational methods begin to be applied, the better it is for the child.

Currently, the only effective therapy for autism is a proper special-educational approach (selection of appropriate forms, methods and means).

The teaching method should be:

  • structured,
  • with consistent visualization support,
  • strictly individual "tailor-made" for each autistic child separately,
  • Aimed at bringing the child to a level of maximum independence that will enable him or her to use all the knowledge, skills and habits he or she has acquired to live as full a life as possible.

Stochastic resonance:

  • probably acts in autism by releasing neurotropic substances, thereby positively altering brain plasticity, especially in the basal ganglia,
  • the brain's metabolic regulatory mechanism is stimulated by the body's own released dopamine, and neuronal signal transduction is improved.

Neurotherapy supports:

  • alleviation of emotional disturbances,
  • alleviation of aggression,
  • alleviation of psychomotor overexcitability,
  • better concentration and speech skills
  • better regulation of muscle tension,
  • motor coordination and
  • precision of movements.
