Ingredients for gluten-free and lactose-free cake

  • 250 g gluten-free flour
  • 150 g finely ground walnuts
  • 10 pcs or 1,5 kg large apples
  • 2 larger bananas
  • 150 g coconut oil
  • 150 g white coconut yoghurt
  • a pinch of salt
  • honey
  • orange zest
  • cinnamon
  • ground vanilla

Preparation procedure

1. Mix the dry ingredients. Add the oil, yoghurt, bananas, honey, orange zest, salt and vanilla and mix until smooth.

Add flour or nuts as needed to make a nice cake batter.

2. Wash the apples well and grate them. Add the cinnamon, the rest of the vanilla and the honey.

You can peel the apples to taste, some people don't like the skins in the filling.

3. Divide the dough into two parts in a 2:1 ratio.

4. Roll out the other part and cut into equal strips about 1,5 cm wide. Arrange these in a grid on the pie plate.

You can also grate the dough as shown in the photo.

5. The cake can be placed in the oven and baked for about 50 to 65 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Let the finished cake cool, it is easier to eat and has a better consistency for serving.
