Thanks to their composition, tomatoes help maintain healthy teeth, bones, hair and skin.

They contain sufficient amounts of calcium and vitamin K, which are essential for minor bone and bone tissue repair.

They also protect us from cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack and stroke.

When eaten regularly, they keep blood cholesterol at a healthy level.

Our soup also contains healthy potatoes, sweet potatoes. Although they are not homemade, they are a very healthy and tasty ingredient suitable for any kind of processing.

Ingredients needed for tomato soup

  • 500 g of tomatoes (we can use passion fruit)
  • 1 pcs larger sweet potatoes
  • olive oil
  • bay leaf
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • water
  • shallots
  • garlic
  • basil

Preparation procedure

1. Briefly fry the chopped shallots in olive oil. After a while, add the crushed garlic and chopped tomatoes.

2. Meanwhile, boil the diced sweet potatoes in salted and seasoned water.

3. Salt and pepper the tomato base and pour in lukewarm water.

4. Add the cooked sweet potatoes to the soup with a little of the water in which they were cooked and blend until smooth.

5. Boil everything together briefly and the soup is ready.

Enjoy!

Serve the soup garnished with fresh basil leaves, cheese or croutons. It can also be served with toast with garlic and cheese, depending on everyone's taste.

We did not add any unnecessary sugar to the soup, replacing it with sweet potatoes.
