Healthy chard and radish salad? Here's a simple and fit recipe

Chard is a leafy vegetable similar to spinach. Its closest relative is beetroot. The dark green leaves of chard contain a large number of vitamins.

We consider chard to be a lovely summer vegetable that can be used in the kitchen just like spinach.

Mangold should not be overcooked so that it does not darken, lose its colour and the nutrients it contains.

That's why we decided to prepare a great recipe for a fit salad.

It is especially delicious as a side dish or you can add it to other dishes. Since we think of it the same way as spinach, don't be afraid to use your imagination and think of ways to replace spinach with chard.

Tasty chard and radish salad

What will you need and what will you do with it?

Ingredients:

  • 600 g young chard leaves
  • 3 bunches of radishes
  • 100 g rocket
  • 100 g cheese (preferably niva)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 ml white Greek yoghurt
  • juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground sweet paprika
  • salt

Directions

First, pick the chard and remove the stalks. Wash, dry and cut into strips.

Chop the smaller radishes and grate the larger ones on a coarse grater.

Crumble the niva cheese with a fork and mix it with the oil, yoghurt, lemon juice and paprika.

Sweeten and salt to taste.

Mix the prepared brine with the chard.

This refreshing salad can be seasoned with rocket to taste.

Serve the salad chilled.
